Praise be to God, the Divine, Singular, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Nature of Universe, the
Unknowable in entirety, yet knowable in part to an individual’s capacity. Divine wisdom
and civil, historic memory, leads us to the knowledge of God’s promise of peaceful
coexistence, happy and abundant life, and gentle going forth at the transition from this life
to the next state of being. To these ends our Divine Parent has promised, as the promise
has always been, that a life lived in the practice of love for God, fellow human beings and
the quest for an ever deepening knowledge of the Divine Essence around us, as well as in
us, will lead to joy in this life and the next state of being. This new view of the historic
Divine Covenant will lift the believer to a higher state of human spiritual awareness and
lead to joy in the soul. There is one God, known in part by many.
To all the world God has always promised:
1. When one seeks and understands the spirit and soul of scriptures with an open
mind and loving heart, the Divine path unfolds beneath the feet. God’s great truths are
manifest in the religious writing of all truly practiced religious ideas and can be understood
by looking for the commonalities. Seek the truth of compassion, harmony and universal
family in the spiritual wisdom of the ages.
2. Prayer and Meditation draws one closer to the Divine Parent, Creator, God. Prayer
and Meditation aide in the realization of the purpose of human kind. We are told that the
purpose of human beings is to know and to love God. To realize our full potential we are
asked to communicate with God.
3. Living a virtuous life that uplifts personal values and strengthens individual discipline
while allowing other people the freedom to reach their own goals will deepen the spiritual
foundation of the believer and the community of spirit. (see Principles of Sempiternal
Harmony)
4. Seek the Divine Nature in all things. Remember that God is manifest in all of
creation, universally. Treat other people as though in them you are near to God, for you
truly are.
5. Attempt to know and to love God.
When one attempts to live these attributes in his or her life, the spirit will grow in joy,
achieve abundant life and blissfully transition into the next state of being. Just as we
developed eyes, arms and legs needed for this state of being while still in the womb, this
covenant is meant to help develop the spiritual attributes needed for the next state of
being. God’s promise to us is that if we do our part, the path will be made safe.
